VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.
Hamilton Light Infantry.
The first special Government daylight parade of the above Company was held on Saturday afternoon. There was an excellent muster, under Capt. Reid and LieutEogecumbe. The Company fell in at the Volunteer Hall, and headed by their band under Bandmaster Mettain, marched to Heaphy Terrace, Hamilton East, \vheri? they were marched past, and exercised in skirmishing drill and various company movements by the officers of the corps. The company then marched back to Hamilton West and were dismissed. On Sunday the usual quarterly church parade took place, there being a good muster of all ranks. Previous to falling in, the band, under their able bandmaster, Mr Mettain, performed several sacred selections in first-rate style, drawing forth, and well deserving, the encomiums of those present.
