DEATH OF SIR ANTHONY MUSGRAVE.
{V>x Er.KCTitio Tklkgrafh—Copyiuoht.] Brisbane, October 9. Sir Anthony Mhsgravb, Governor of Queensland, was seized with pains in the abdomen and died suddenly last night of syncope. He was 00 years of agfi, and had been Governor since March, 1883. Sir Arthur Hunter Palmer, President of the Legislative Council, has been sworn in as Acting Governor. [Sir A. Musgrave, K.C.M.G., was a son of Dr. Musgrave, of Antipjna, West Indies. He has held the appointments respectively of administrator of the Islands of Nevis and St. Vincent, and Governor of Newfoundland, British Columbia, Natal, South Australia, Jamaica and Queensland./
