HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of this Board was held in the Borough Council Chambers on Tuesday evening. There were present: Messrs Coates (chairman), Knox. Tippen, Salmon, Wood, Missen, Bell, Frear and Jones. Sydney Square.—The Secretary to the Hamilton Cricket Club wrote, pointing out the inconvenience caused by the track across Sydney Square, and requesting that, the wicket gates be shifted so as to divert the track from going across so near the pitch.—The letter was received, and the matter deferred to next meeting. TiuNSKKR.— Mr C. J. W. Barton askod that iiis interest in Lot 453 be transferred to Mr A. G. Bright.—The request was granted. Lkasb.—Mr C. Carthy applied for permission to give up Lots 59 and OS, as lie was unable to do anything with them. —It was resolved that the letter lay on the table. Reserve. —The Clerk reported that the Galloway-street reserve had been loused to Mr 1). Lees for six months for £2 los. Payments.—The following accounts were passed for paymentC. McKenzie, £2; W. Peacock, iOs (id ; J. Wright, ISs 6d ; R. Waite, 4s (id ; G. Mason, £12 17s <>d ; The Waikato Times, l(ss Gd; R. F. Sandes, Ss. Notice of Motion.—ln accordance with notice given, Mr Knox moved that resolution No. 8, of the 24th December, 1888, re cattle being permitted to graze in the Lake reserve, be rescinded ; also, that resolution No. 1, of the 24th July last, deciding to offer Lot 3 9 and 10 Domain lands West for 14 years at 7s (id per acre per annum, bo rescinded.—Seconded by Mr Salmon and carried. This concluded the business, and the Board rose.
