CRICKET.
Thk Hamilton Club holds its adjourned meeting to-day at The Waikato Tjmks buildings, at 12 o'clock sharp. It is proposed to play for a club cup this vcur. The T.xupiri Club has sent out the first challenge of the season, to play Hamilton on 20th October. The Australian Eleven in England. The return match, Australian Eleven v. Shrewsbury's team, was commenced today at Manchester, The latter went first to the wickets, and at the luncheon adjournment had lost three wickets for i) 0 runs.
