HAMILTON LAWN TENNIS CLUB

Tin; annual meeting of the above club was held on the court on Saturday afternoon, there being about twenty members present. Dr. Murch occupied the chair. The minutes of last annual meeting were read and confirmed. Colonel Forbes was elected president, and Dr. Murch vice-president for the ensuing year; and Messrs Sandos, Lngie, Stevens and Mnlgan cnminittecmen, and Mr J. S. Edgecumbe lion, secretary. The balancosheet for this year was lead and adopted. Two new members were elected. Votes of thanks wore passed to Mr C. J. W. Barton for the use of the ground, and to the outgoing committee and Mr T. Wallnntt, late secretary, for past services in connection with the club. The tea and cake, kindly provided by the ladies, then came on, which was more appreciated and gave greater satisfaction to most of the assembly than the dry business portion of the meeting.
