KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.

The monthly meeting of this Board was held at the Waikato County Council Chambers at 2 p.m. yesterday. Present: Messrs Primrose (chairmau), Maclean and Steele.

Tenders.—The following tenders were received for the formation of the Tramway Road H Kelly, £20 I'Js Gd ;M. Slmnaghan, £18 ; J. Dixon, £14 19s Gd (accepted). MangaWhara Road: F. W. Littlewood, £33 Is 8d (accepted); D. Thompson, £Gsa 4s; Carthy and Bennett, informal. Road.—Mr T. Clarken applied to the Board to open the road running between his property and Mr W. Chitty's.—-The Clerk was instructed to write to Mr Chitty to warn him that if he does not move the fence obstructing the road the Board would bo compelled to do so at hi# expense. : Gravel.—Mr Seddon, with reference to the subsidy due by him towards gravelling the road by his place, refused to pay the sum, as he did not consider that the contractor had done the work properly. — The Clerk was instructed to inform Mr Seddon that they held him responsible for the sum, the Engineer having passed the work, and the contractor having been pajd. Payments.—'The following accounts wtre passed for payments:—E. Johnson, £7 6s ; G. Wishart, £5 8s 4d ; T. VinoenU 12s 9d; The Waikato Times, £2 4s Gd; BRHinton, £1 2s Gd. This concluded the business.
