LIBEL ACTION.
(|IT ELECTRIC TELKGRArH— COPYRIGHT). Sydney, September 7. The great libel action between G. R. Dibbs and the proprietor of the Daily Teipgraph was concluded last night, after a hearing of ten day*, The jury were unable to agree on a verdict, and were locked up for the night. The alleged libel was published in a leading article on the 10th of December last, commenting on Mr Dibbs' financial Statement, and charged him with criminally manipulating the public accounts* and estimates. £1000 damages are claimed.
