ACCIDENT TO MR ARTHUR WHEELER.
Mr A. Wheeler, of Harapepe, mot with a serious accident as he was going from Hamilton to his brother's place at Tamahere on Saturday night. The horse Mr Wheeler was riding, being a young and restive one, shied at an object on the side of the road near Mr Cowley's corner, throwing him, and then rolled over on top of him. The horse when recovering himself kicked Mr Wheeler on the face, breaking his cheek bone. Having caught his horse, he mounted it, rode on home, and woke up his brother, who administered what relief he could, and then rode into Cambridge for Dr. Waddington, who on arrival bandaged the bone. From the latest accounts, Mr Wheeler is progressing favourably.
