THE DAVIS TRAGEDY.
(by telegraph.—rmssa association). Thames, Monday. Mary Davis was brought up on remand charged with the attempted murder of her husband at Mount Pleasant. The police applied for a further remand until Monday which was granted and accused admitted to bail, Davis is still in the hospital in a very critical state with symptoms of erysipelas, and it is doubtful whether he will recover.
