Hamilton East v. West Boys.

A football match took place on Sydney Square on Saturday last between Hamilton East and West boys, under 13 years of age, and resulted, after a close game, in a win for the East boys by 1 point to nil,_ a try obtained by F. Cowper shortly after the kick-off. For the East boys ¥. Cowper. Gilletts (2), Johnson, Coates, Black and Gelling played the best, whilst for the West Harris, De-ery, Munrn, Hume, Millar and Hyde played well. Messrs Kingsley and Kelly umpired for West and Mast respectively. The return match between the boys under 17 takes place next Saturday, commencing at 3 p.m. sharp.
