Friday.—-(Before Capt. Jackson, R.M.) civil. The Waikato Dairy Co. v. E. L. Smith, for goods, £3 5s 9d.—Judgment for plaintiff with costs. W. McLeisii v. J. Douglas.—Claim, £S 15s lOd for carting and other work done and cash lent.—Mr Hay for plaintiff, Mr O'Neill fordefendant. Judgment reserved till next court day. criminal. Sheep Inspector v. G. McCann and Same v. J. Hawkins.—For having sheep infected with lice. No appearance of prosecutor. The offences were admitted, and the court required defendants to deposit the minimum penalty of £1 each till next court day. M, Roach v. 11. Kelly, for insulting language. This case arose out of the quarrels of their children who attend the Convent school.—Mrs Roach wished defendant to be bound over to keep tbe peace. Case dismissed.
