♦ LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL|HY TKLBGIIAPH— I'lllfSS ASSOCIATION.! WEDNESDAY. This Council met at 2.30. In answer to Hun. Mr Walker, Hon. Mr Stevens said it was the intention of the Oovenunent to place a sufficient sum of money on the estimates for the purpose of sending an exhibit of minerals from Now Zealand to the Paris Exhibition. The Auckland Hospital Reserves Act Amendment Act, ISSS, was read a first time. The following Bills were passed : — Mackenzie Land, lioss Compensation, I'ost Office Foreign Parcels, Rating Acts Amendment. District Courts Act Amendment, Clyde Domain and Recreation Ground Grants, and Waikato Agricultural College and Model Farm Bills. The Native Land Court Act Amendment Bill, 18SU, was read a first time, and the Council rose.
