SEAMEN'S UNION AND MAIL BOATS.
[By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright,] Sydney - , August 14. The Seamen's Union have received in formation by cable from San Francisco to the effect that the men shipped here to take the place of the Chinese crew on the Alameda will be sent back as passengers, Mr Spreckels having determined to retain the Chinese crews on board the steamers bslonging to his company.
