Wellington, Wednesday. In the Supreme Court, Justice Richmond delivered judgment in th 6 cases of the French escapees, Gasparini and Gary, The applications in each case were for writ of habeas corpus. In the case of Gasparini application was refused, but in the case of Cury application was granted, and the writ made returnable this day week. Mr Jellicoe, acting on behalf of the friends of Gasparini, has taken steps this afternoon to appeal from Mr Justice Richmond's decision not to grant the application for rule nisi for writ of habeas corpus, and a writ has already been issued. The case will be heard in the Court of Appeal in November next.
