DEATH OF TITOKOWARU

(By Electric Telegraph.—Coi'right.) Manaia, July IS, Titokowaku, the famous Ngatiotemaru fighting chief of the troublous times of 1807, and onwards, died last night, at his pah near here. He was a consistent friend of his own race, and ft brave and farseoing general. All the natives of the coast are expected to the tangi.
