CRUELTY TO A BOY.

(BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wanganui, Wednesday. At the Police Court, Charles Enderby, farmer, was fined nine guineas and costs for cruelty in flogging a boy named Barton, aged 14, who was in his employ. The Bench severely censured Enderby, and Mr Krull, J.P., who was on the Bench, said that had he known defendant's real statements he would have sentenced liiin to two months' imprisonment without the option of a fine.
