(BY TELEGRAPH— I'RKSS ASSOCIATION.) Thames, Wednesday. The Thames Harbour Board has passed a resolution to the effect that owing to the curtailment of the limits of the port atid consequent reduction in the Board's revenue, it is unable to pay the coupons which became due on Ist. inst. on money lent by the Post-offiue department, and therefore the Government must be prepared to accept responsibility. Two miners named George Snelear and Alfred Nowdick, of the Satuon Goldmining Company, sustained injuries of a severe nature last night, by a, quantity of mullock falling on them. Snelear had his leg broken, and Newdick was badly bruised.
