FOOTBALL.
Hamilton v. Huntly.
Thk long talked of football match between the above clubs will be played on .Sydney Square, Hamilton, to-day, at a quarter to two, and should the weather prove lino, a very large number of spectators will doubtless r ill up, as a great deal of interest appears to be taken in the match. The betting up to Thursday was o to 1 on Huntly, but people have changed their minds since they saw the Hamilton "specters" practicing on Thursday afternoon, and now only even money is laid. The following are the names of the Hamilton team : — •Messrs Cribble (captain), Sage, -M, Hume, .Jim Kellv, Von Stunner, Mays, Jolly, Hammond ("2), McKenzie, lieid, Andrew, O'X'uill. Cassidy and Moore. Jimergencies : Seddon, Peacock, Quick and Kelly. A footballer Rives the following sage advice: "To the players of both teams. Talk less, (live up cuss words, if you want your names kept out of the papers."
