Blcklanu Reports,:— At (>hau;>o livo stock sale, on Tuesday last, rithev lens than the average number of cattle yarded, but with few exceptions all gold at ruling rates. Grown steers were not represented, but young stock sold freely, and all offered woro knocked down a*; the'auction. Dairy cows brought from £.'. Jos to i' 3 17s (id, but were of middling quality only. Strong calves, mixed sexes, 12s ; yearling steers, 17s Od to 23s ; twoyear heifers, 2i>s ; cows in good condition, 3i"s lid to l."is ; two year steers, 35s to -12s fid ; fat cows and heifers, 1:2 10a to £4 each, depending on quality. .No sheep sold at miction. There wore- some very useful horses entered, but few sold. Two draught lillies wore sold privately at £10 10s and ; a four year-old hack i'l2 ; active medium draught mare, £7 10s ; and some light hacks £2 t0 £5 Gao h.
