Here is a rather amusing story to hand from the Inner Temple. A:barrister was recently brought before the Benchers charged with the dreadful oftenec of taking half-a-guinea as a fee, when his brief was marked one guinea.,. He was reprimanded severely for thus departing from the best traditions of the bar by taking less than his brief fee ; but replied that, 011 the contrary, he had clung to the best traditions of the bar in taking all he could from his client.—Press correspondent.
