At a meeting of the Australian Mutual Provident Association, an amendment w.is carried to the report of the directors, disagreeing with the proposed officers' provident fund. The directors were requested to teet the legality of pensions being granted. A ballot of all the members will be taken. The Legislative Council have passed a motion protesting against the Imperial veto on the Divorce Bill, aud the House then read the new Divorce Bill a third time. Perth (W.A.), June 14. Favourable news has been received from Kimberley. The stone in the Lady Broome reef is very rich, but the natives depredations are becoming serious.
