It is reported that the Government have despatched four men-of-war to seize some British sealing vessels, said to be carrying on operations in Behring Straits. Dublin, May 30. The County and City of Dublin have been proclaimed. London, May 31. A company has been registered with a capital of £1,000,000, with power to increase it to £2,000,000, to purchase or lease the Sydney tramways. The Government will call for tenders for the purchase or lease within the next few days. It is stated that the French claim the Isle l'Maitre, on the ground that it has long been a dependency of France. Immense damage has been done to the crops in America by rain and hailstorms.
