PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.

The annual meeting of the trustees of tho above Board was held at the Pukekura School-room on Monday last. Present : Messrs Gane, Kusabs, R. Fisher and ]:<, Allen. Mr J. Gine was elected Chairman. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. CoiiKKsroNDENCE. — A letter from .fudge Rogati, thanking the trustees for their proinpitude in repairing the approaches to the bridge iu the Pukckura Redoubt Boad, as "the public can now travel along it without danger to life or liinb.. Mr Kusabs was authorised to get a few chains of fencing done on the road at Cowley's Gull}', and Messrs Fisher and Allen to get Bell's Road and Pukekura Road levelled. Resolved that tenders be invited for forming about 40 chains of Pukekura Redoubt Road, Complaint was made of furze encroaching on the road adjoining tho property of Mrs Johns, Cambridge West, and the secretary was instructed to give notice to remove the same within one month.. Resolved that Hugh Fitzgerald be reappointed clerk, treasurer, returning officer, and collector, and that his residence, Fairview, Cambridge, bo the office of the Board. Resolved that the next meetiug of the trustees be held at Cambridge on the second Saturday in June. Accounts. — Accounts amounting to £•13 13s 2d werq received and passed.
