TlOmh, May 7. His Holiness the Pope has directed Monsignor Persico to obtain the views of the Irish Bishops respecting the decree. The wonvocation of Cardinals is considering what further steps should lie taken with regard to Irish affairs. Dublin, May 7. Mr Dillon, speaking at Drogheda, said if the Pope insists on his decroe the Irish people should inform him that they are capable of managing their own affairs without foreign interference. The priests dissented from Mr Dillon's views.
