» (IST TKLEGHAL'H. —PIIIOSS ASSOCIATION'.) DUNEDIN, Monday. TueTI.M.S. Kaikoura, which left Plymouth on tiie 10th March, arrived off Port Chalmers heads at 11.30 last night, but did not come in till noon to-day, CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. Clias. E. Scott, formerly a clerk employed in the Lyttleton Times Company's Oilice, was committed for trial on a charge of embezzling £o.'!, which he received from newspaper runners, and had not accounted for. He had absconded to Melbourne, where he was arrested. Esther Matilda Evitt lias been committed for trial on a charge of forgery.
