[By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] London, April 1!). The libel action, Peters v. Bradlaugh resulted in a verdict for plaintiff and £200 damages. Mr Bradlaugh apologised for the statement that Lord Salisbury had given cheques for the purpose of organising unemployed gatherings in Trafalgar Square, and the proceedings instituted against him have been abandoned.
