MELBOURNE EXHIBITION.
+ (BY TELEGRAPH. — PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Wellington, April 13. His Excellency the Governor, presided at a meeting of exhibition commisioners today. A cable has been received from Melbourne stating that the exhibition opens on the Ist August next. Reports were too hand of a steady advance being made in all branches of the work, pertaining to the forthcoming celebration. Exhibits leave New Zealand by Manapouri, starting from 3rd May, and collecting southward, arriving in Melbourne on 16th May. _________
