REVISION OF THE AMERICAN TARIFF,
— [By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] Washington, April 9. Tiie House of Representatives lias been sitting since Wednesday last debating the Tariff. Bill. It has been proposed to refund proportionate sums to the various States or take a general reduction in taxation, in order to deceease the surplus, and so obviate the necessity for a revision of the tariff.
