Ar the Supreme Court, to-day, Charles Hamilton, who pleaded guilty to forgery, was sentenced to three years ; John Astley, alias Carling, convicted of larceny, two years; Greo. Patterson, for robbery with violence at Mastcvton, three years. CM ki.stciiuncir, Wednesday. At the Supreme Court this morning, Martha Dallier was charged with murder of her son four years old on the29th December at Rakaia. Evidence showed that she had tied the child to her and walked into the river and sat down in the water. Three children saw her and gave the ahum when she was found she was insensible, and the child was dead, they were lying about fifty yards out in the stream as if she had crawled out, she was addicted to drink, and had previously been in a lunatic asylum. The jury returned a verdict of "Not guilty," on the ground of insanity.
