Poetry. EASTER DAY.
Gladly solemn Kaslor day When our I'jiivil from sloeji of clay Hose victorious in his might, Kosi! tu throne him in the height Of the Heaven of heavens above Still and solemn Kaster day, Peace mi Earth that *eeins to say, And to sinful men good will Is the earnest brightening still Of the Heaven of heavens above. Bright and holy Easter day, Like a warm and reddening l'ay Breaking in on darksome night Gleaming with the glowing light Of the Heaven of heavens above. Sweet and solemn Kaster day, Like some holy angel's lay Sounding o'er life's stonnful sea, Setting it to harmony With the Heaven of heavens above. Holy, solemn Easter day, 'ivilingof the Judge alway Seated on the great, white throne, YVho shall come to take his own To the Heaven of heavens above. H oaV enly, happy Easter day ! N begins on earth the sway Of e j'lynus, peaceful rest Of the saints with Jesus blest, In the Heaven of heavens above.
