[CY TELEGRAPH—I'RKSS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Monday The Government expect to call Parliament together not later than the end of April. Ministers are now engaged framing the estimates to be passed next session, and will complete their task today. The fight in which Slavin undertook to knock out Schwar in four rounds, took place in the theatre on Saturday night at Mastcrtou. Schwar failed to come to time towards the end of the first round. Strong efforts are being made to nrge the Government to repair the Buller Road, but the Government consider that the cost would be so heavy that they could not sanction the expenditure without Parliamentary assent.
