DROWNING ACCIDENT.

[BY TKLKGRAPH—r»KSH ASSOCIATION.! Dunbdim, Monday. Alexander Hontku. a prominent member of the Nortli Dunedin Rifles, was drowned yesterday morning while bathing at the foot of Frederick-street. Deceased was subject to epileptic lits, and while in one he must have expired. At the inquest on the body of A. Hunter, who was drowned while bathing in the bay, a verdict of '" Accidental death" was returned, the jury adding a rider condoling the parents' loss of such an excellent young man.
