Lillywhite'H English Eleven, the Englishmen's scoro first innings were as follows :—Newham, b Hewitt, 5; Pilling, b Hewitt, 0; Lohmann, b Hewitt, IB; Shrewsbury, c McGirr, b Dryden, 21; Read, o Heamah, b Dryden, 70; Brifjgs, c Dryden, b Hewitt, 1!); Preston, c Moorhonse, b Hewitt, 22 ; Ulyett (not out) 47 ; Ponger, b McGirr, 5 ; Smith, c Sanderson, b Dawson, 1 ; Brann, b McGirr, 0; extras, 1; total, 207. Wellington, in their first innings, have lost 17 wickets for 70 runs, the highest scorers being,, Heenan, 14 ; Kerker, 11; Wiren, 7. The others only made two or three. Lohmatn took ten wickets for 30 runs, and Brisrgs 7 for 33. The game will beresumed at 11 o'clock to-morrow.
