[BY TBLEGILVPI-γ.—OWN CO!tir«l'O\HHN'T.] Auckland, Friday. Coi'ious rain full Inst night, and did much good, by flushing the city drains. Mr Robert Browning is reported slightly better to-day .Sir George Grey has forwarded to the town clerk a list of manuscripts which lie is about to present to the Art Uallery. Tho majority of tin; papers an; addresses presented to him during his torm of office as Governor of the colony. Tlusu are valuable as relics (f bygone days, and will no doubt be much sought after in futnra years. Auckland claims '33 addresses out of the collection. There is trouble brewing for the local bicyclists. It appears that nut of the number of wheelman in Auckland only eight have registered their bicycles, as required by tho bye-law*, and accordingly legal proceedings are about to betaken agunst t!ie defiiultois.
