TAMAHERE FETE IN AID OF SSTEPHEN'S BUILDING FUND.
A mkkti.N'C of ParisliKiißis was held in S. Stephen's Cliurcl), Tamaheiv, on Wednesday evening, the Vnn. Archdeacon Willis prosidinuf. It was resolved to hold a fete at T.unahero, on H istor Monday, and a programme was arranged fur the day as follows :—Luncheon to commence nt 12 o'clock noon : sports and various entertainments in the afternoon, including ?;do of work, etc. In the. evening a farce, concert, and dance. It is :intici)>:itod that the fete will ho a sne--OD-, as Hie affair is being warmly supported by all the residents and members of the congregation, whilst the ladies are working hard to provide amusements and tin comforts of life to entertain the visitors ou their arrival. We hope, therefore, that the publie will show their appreciation of these efforts, by liberally patronizing the fete on the 2nd April, Easter Monday. We understood that the amount still owing is filoO which has been guaranteed by six of the residents, and it is to relieve them from their responsibilities th it the fute is being organised.
