The Committee of tho übovo library met en Tuesday afternoon. Presiint : .Messrs Jas. 1 [ally (cli.iii Mian). J. I*. Thomson, H. W. Dyer, W. S. Stewart and R. W. Sargent. The resignation of Mr John 'Duda as librarian was accepted, and it was resolved that he ho written to, thanking him for his past services, and wishing him every success and happiness in his now sphere of life, it was resolved to advertise for -a librarian, llio salary being lived at £35 per annum. The hours on which the library is to be open, are from 10 a.m. to noon, and 2 p.m. to -1 p.m. daily ; and 7 p.m. to i) p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A letter received from Mr Hartiy was ordered to lie on the tible. The proceeds from the late concert were t'3 15s.
