HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.

+- . At the monthly meeting of this Board on Saturday last, the following members ■were present : Messrs Maunder, (chairman), Booth, Way, and Livingstone. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. A letter was receiver! from the Clerk of the Waipa County Council, granting the Board permission to take gravel from the road side provided the Board filled up the hole made. Mr Fiteroy Peacock applied to have the approach to the bridge on Col. de Quincey'a road repaired, and it was decided that Mr Way should inspect the approach and get the necessary works done. There were only two tenders for the work on the Whatawhata road, Mr W. Booth and Mr Thos. Jones, the tender of the latter being accepted. Mr J. C. Booth was authorised to expend the sum of. £25 on the old Whatawhata Road, from the junction with the Ngaruawahia-Hamilton Road to the railway crossing, and to superintend the contract work.
