WAITOA ROAD BOARD.

Tilß usual monthly meeting of the Board was held last Saturday, all the members being present. Enoinkuk's Km'oirr.—The Engineer reported that M. O'Donoghue had done repairs on the Ngutninanga road at a cost of £8. C. Collins had done repairs to the Peronui bridge, main road repairs, and clearing ti-tree, &c., on the Ngutunianga road at a cost of 5s 7d. S. Burge had finished clearing drain contract, and had a balance of €12 to receivc. T. Nyland had finished what he had taken in hand to do on Glassford's road, and had a balance of £R 13s 4d to receive. Wohks. —It was decided to take 500 yards out of the cutting at Glassford's, and then gravel it. Ti-tree is to be cut on McGlashan's road and some levelling done. Improvements are to be done on Bloasdales road, and also on Jenkin's road. The \\ r ai to,a bridge on the main road, which is said to be getting very sha.kcy, is to be renewed. Bridges or culverts which aro found to be defective on the Gorge road are to be renewed, either by wood or pipes, as the Engineer may think best. Repairs and improvements are to be done also in various other parts of the district.
