SERIAC, THE BURGLAR.

[by telegraph—own correspondent.! Auckland, Monday. From inquiries made it has been ascertained that Seriac, the supposed burglar, now in arrest at Sydney, came frotn Noumea by the schooner Marion on the 23rd January last. Seriac made some curious statements whilo on the voyage to Auckland. Ho told one of the sailors that he had some very valuable property in his trunk, which he would not part with unless greatly pushed. Tho sailors of this boat noticed his dislike to be seen about in daytime, and on one occasion they questioned Inm about it.
