DOMAIN Boarii.—A. meeting of the Hot Springs Bnmain Board, (adjourned from the !th inst.,) was held on Saturday evening, the whole (if the members being present. The only correspondence was a letter from Mr \V. Kelly, M.H.R., stating that in furtherance of the wishes of Ihe board, he had written to Wellington, asking that the decision of the Government relative to the grant of £500, pi'omi-ed by the late ministry for works within the domain, might be loconsidered. It was resolved to erect music stands and seats for the convenience of the local brass band when performing in the domain, the carrying out of the work to be left to Messrs Wilson and Ijipsey. Reference was maiii to the inconvenience caused by a few persons who iu using the electric bath occupied the room for a longer time than was necessary. It was decided to leave the matter to lie dealt with by the chairman. Messrs Gavin and IloU were appointed a committee to (haw up rules for the management of the tennis lawn. The passing of a few wages accounts and seme other routine hisine-s concluded the proceedings of the adjourned meeting. A special meeting \vas afterwards hold to consider the question of free tickets to the baths, when the following resolutions were adopted :—" That clergymen of ad denominations, together with their families, have free admission," and " that a thousand complimentary tickets be printed, and that every person admitted five, on the authority of any member of the board, be provided with one of these tickets." liAlM'Al.l..— A good deal of rain fell here, earlv on Sunday morning and also li-t night.
