MR PARNELL AND LORD CARNARVON.
|By Electric Telkc;bai>h.—Copyright. J London, February 14. Mr Paunell, in moving an amendment to tLie Address-.in-lieply to the Speech from the throne, re-iter-ated the statement that Lord Carnarvon's views on the subject of Home Hule were identical witlii his own, and that Lord Carnarvju had declared that an Irish Parliament was the only feasible concession to Irish claims. Mr Parnell further declared that Mr Balfour's assertion that good results appeared from the policy of coercion was baseless. Coercion was only beginning in Ireland, it was, therefore, too early for the Government to take credit for the policy, the result of which could not yet be ascertained. Mr Parnell's speech is regarded as a feeble indictment of the Irish policy of the Government.
