ItSv Electric Tele'jr.u'h.— Coi'yiu(;ht|. Sydney, February 15. During the discussion in the Assembly last evening on a proposal to extend the New South Wales railway system to the Broken Hill Silver Mines the notorious Mr McIlhone, member for Upper Hunter, in the course of his remarks denounced some of the companies, including the Whiterock Silver Mine Company, just floated with a capital of a million, as swindlers. Mr Quick Matheson another member, said he was interested in the compiny particularly referred to, and culled Mr M::lIhone "a liar," whereupon Mr Mellhone struck Mr Matheson in the face. A fight afterwards took place in trio smoking room and the aggressor was soundly drubbed.
