THE COPPER RINGS.

The copper rings at last arranged to take over and work the copper mines of Calaniet and the Heata Company on Lake Superior, Michigan, United States. For a long time this company successfully withstood the efforts made by speculators to get them to r. duce the output of copper pro rata in order to raise the price of the metal ill the markets. As they are the largest producers in America and as their mines are said to be the richest in the world the success of the negotiations of tlin copper ring in thus acquiring the control of the miue has caused not a little sensation in commercial circles.
