A writer in Harper's Magazine for November has some interesting things to Bay about the Argentine Republic. Companies with five million dollars capital are common, and those with ten millions are not rare. The Governments of Argentine Uruguay subsidise the business of exportin" frozen meat, and the Germans »s well as the English and Scotch are taking advantage of the liberal concessions.
