CANTERBURY v. OTAGO. [I'iy Eleotluu Teleuhapii— Copyright.] Uunedin, Friday. Tub annual interproviucial cricket match between Canterbury and Ota.Ro was commenced to-day. Otago went first to the wickets, aud scored 97. of which Harper, the captain, made 53, aud Rayner and Grive 11 each. Canterbury only responded with OS, Leebatt scoring'l7, 'Fowke IG. and Dnnlop 11. Not a single extra was scored. Otago went in for their second innings, and at the close of the time had made OS with two wickets dov/n, Harris scoring 32, when ha was given out by mistake, Beck 12, and Parker 15 (not out)!
