Berry. The ' survivors return to America by the U.M.s, ' Alameda. , The tusc steamer which was despatched to search for the missing boat of the Amcris can ship J. T. Berry has returned without 3 finding a trace of the ill-fated mariners. A " minute search was made of Lord Howe Island, without success, and as the weather was fine it is considered that the boat had 1 not been in the vicinity, as a landing could . easily have been effected. It is now thought that those missing have perished, unless 1 they have had the good fortune to fall in 5 with a passing vessel.
