CRICKET.

; A (jbickht match was played at Taupiri on January 14th, between Taupiri and llangiriri. Several visitors caine from both Huntly and Rangiriri, and there was a crowd of enthusiastic spectators on the cricket ground. A most successful dance was held in the school-room in the evening, The match resulted in a win for the local team by six wickets, principally owing; to the splendid bowjing of Messrs Cox and K.
