CAMBRIDGE BOROUGH COUNCIL.

TllK ordinary monthly meeting of tho above council was held in the Town Clerk's (Mice on Tuesday, at 7 p.m. Present : Tho Mayor (Mr James Hally), and Councillors (Jillett. Bind, Ferguson, Webber, J. li. Land and D. Richardson. The minutes of the previous meeting wore read and contirmod. S Richardson said he thought the late Mayor had something to do with that letter horns; sent. Richardson proposed an amendment in accordance with the suggestion he had previously made ; but upon the Mayor laying he should not like the undertaking after the matter had baou settled at a former meetu\", it was withdrawn. On the. motion of Cr. Bach, seconded by by Cr. J. 11. S. Richardson, T. Hartly 's tender was accepted, he being a resilient of Cambridge. It wonld b" neee-sary to make Bv-laws regarding the lii-itter, ami it was resolved that a special meeting of the IW'ough Council be called for the'mh instant at 7 p.m. for the purpose.
