Tins match was played at Hamilton on ■Saturday last, and was won by Tuakau on the first innings by 130 runs with two wickets still to fall. While anticipating defeat, the local players have only their own incapacity to thank for the miserable beating they deservedly got. Their batting was weak, their bowling weaker, and we have never witnessed a wore contemptible specimen of fielding. With two i;r three exceptions, the field acted with spirit and keen rivalry the farce, " How not to do it."
