No entries will be received except on the condition that all claims, disputes and objections shall be decided by the committee, such decision to be final. All protests must bo accompanied by the sum of ton shillings, which shall be forfeited to the funds if the protest be not sustained. The winner of any handicap over the value of £5 after the declaration of the starts may bo re-bamlicappcd for oue or all of the three distances for the Cnp. In all races any competitor leaving the mark before the pistol goes oil to be penalised and put back in 100 yds. and I2oyds., 1 yard ; 200 yds. and 250 yds., 2 yards; 4foyds., 5 yards; OGSyds., 7 yards; Emile, 10 yards; 1 mile, 20 yards.
